Soft shackles are a lightweight replacement for common steel screw pin shackles when connecting various rigging items. Stren-Flex Soft Shackles are Made in the USA under uncompromising quality standards. They have been lab- and field-tested to ensure consistent repeatable minimum breaking strength values.
Soft Shackles feature UHMWPE construction, similar to winch lines. They’re lightweight, exceptionally strong, and can be used in place of steel screw-pin shackle in many instances. They’re lightweight and easy-to-handle nature takes metal out of the rigging equation and they store less potential energy than steel shackles. Plus, they’re easily tucked away in glove boxes, bags, and bins without adding loads of heft.
